| This was the day that the boys took over the art area, and made some awesome things! |

| Picnic time! |

| Making paper bags into snowman heads. |

| We filled balloons with water and left them outside overnight on one of our very cold days. The next day they were frozen solid! |
 |
| When we brought them inside we peeled the balloons off the balls of ice and sprinkled them with salt to see what would happen. The salt melted some of the ice. |
 |
| Then we used droppers and put watercolors on the ice- they turned into beautiful works of art! |
 |

| We put watercolor paints in the freezer overnight and then painted with them the next day. |
 |
| It was like painting with a popsicle, but you couldn't eat the paint! |
